Twelve sailors. Twelve races. Two throw-outs. And one point between 1st and 2nd place.

Congratulations and thank you to the hearty sailors who braved the wind and rain to participate in the 10th (yes, we think it's the 10th) annual Cow Pond regatta. We had a relatively steady wind out of the east, punctuated by periods of rain. Cold rain.

We also had a yummy assortment of chips, dips, hoagies, candy and beer to warm us under the tent. Surprisingly, no one's car got stuck in the mud. There were no dog fights or major breakages. We even managed to swap out a few crystals and get the frequencies straightened out after losing one boat to the far side of the pond.

The cows seemed to enjoy the racing, as they mooed and bellowed in the distance. I suppose they just wanted their pond back.
